11 41 000 Removing and installing/replacing oil pump (S63T 0)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

DRAIN ENGINE OIL .
REMOVE lower oil sump section.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque: 11 41 4 AZ .

Release side of chain tensioner (2).

Remove chain tensioner (1).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 41 2AZ .

Raise oil pump chain (1).

Feed out the sprocket (2) of the oil pump.

Remove oil pump (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

When the oil pump is reused, check and clean the sealing surfaces.

Installation note:

Install the chain tensioner (1) in direction of arrow.

Secure chain tensioner (2) with screw (1).

Tightening torque: 11 41 4AZ .

Assemble engine.
