11 65 185 Removing and installing/replacing heat shield, bottom (S63T 0)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both exhaust turbochargers. See 11 65 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/RENEWING LEFT EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER, CYLINDERS 5-8 (S63T 0) and 11 65 025 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/RENEWING RIGHT EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER, CYLINDERS 1-4 (S63T 0) .
Remove both exhaust manifolds . See 18 40 010 REMOVE/INSTALL/REPLACE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AT LEFT (S63 B44 T 0/2) and 18 40 020 REMOVE AND INSTALL/REPLACE RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD (S63 B44 T 0/2) .
Remove ALTERNATOR .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 5AZ .

Remove heat shield (2) towards top.

Remove heat shield (2).

Assemble engine.
