13 54 030 Removing and installing/sealing throttle body (N47 D16/20 K/U/O/T 1)

IMPORTANT: READ and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Switch off ignition.
Remove PRESSURE PIPE .
If fitted:
Remove acoustic cover at front.

Release and detach plug connections (1) at throttle body and intake air temperature sensor.

Release screws (1) on throttle valve assembly.

Tightening torque 13 54 1AZ .

Feed out and remove throttle body (2).

Installation note:

Replace seals on throttle body and intake air mixing tube.

NOTE: On replacement of the throttle body, carry out modifications on the charge air pipe (2).
Release clamps (1) and remove charge air pipe (2) from the throttle body (3).
Replace gasket.

Installation note:

Check stored fault message.

Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
