51 13 319 Removing and installing or replacing trim strip on roof gutter strip at rear left or right

Necessary preliminary work:

Release rear section of TRIM STRIP ON GUTTER STRIP (do not remove)

Disengage trim strip (1) in area (A) toward the bottom.

Disengage trim strip (1) in direction of arrow out of clips (2) and remove.

Installation note:

Check all clamps for visible damage.

Following parts must not be damaged, replace if required:

Clamp
Plastic mounting
Gasket

Installation note:

Coat sealing (1) of side window with water.

Firstly thread in trim strip (2) behind sealing (1) then engage in clips.

Sealing (1) must not be trapped by trim strip (2) (risk of damage).
