51 11 180 Removing and installing/replacing ornamental grille for bumper panel (center)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT BUMPER PANEL

Version with ACC:

Release cover (1) at latch mechanisms (2).

Remove cover (1).

Luxury Line model:

Release circlip (1).

Release expanding rivet (1).

If necessary, unclip hose pipe (2).

Loosen the holder (3) at marked latch mechanisms and feed out.

If necessary, feed the hose pipe for the headlight cleaning system and cable for ultrasonic sensors out as well.

Release expanding rivet (1).

Release ornamental grille (2) at latch mechanisms (3).

Feed out ornamental grille (2).

Installation note:

Catches (3) must not be damaged or missing.
