41 12 701 Stripping Operations - Replacing Luggage Compartment Floor And Right Side Member (Right Side Panel And Tail Panel Removed)

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release wiring harness at attachment point (2).

Release plastic nuts (3) and remove holder for control units.

Remove cover (1) and release nut (2).

Tightening torque 61 21 4AZ .

Turn the lock (2) counterclockwise and remove.

Push the positive battery wire connector (1) through the luggage compartment floor to the outside.

Release plug connection (1) on power distribution box.

Release positive wire (2) on mounting (3) and press grommet (4) through to the outside with positive battery cable.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release nut (2) and remove POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE DISTRIBUTOR (3).

Tightening torque 61 21 2AZ .

Release wiring harness (4) from retaining pin.

Partly detach insulating mat (5) and fold forwards.
