41 12 700 Stripping Operations - Replace The Luggage Compartment Floor And Left Side Member (Removed Left Side Wall And Tail Panel)

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

Remove exhaust system (COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N20, N26) or COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N47) )
Remove exhaust system heat shield
Remove LEFT AND RIGHT TRAILING LINKS
Remove REAR AXLE SUPPORT

Release nut (1) for ground connection.

Tightening torque 41 14 1AZ .

Release wiring harness at attachment points (2).

Release latch mechanisms and remove rear ventilation (3).

Lift out expanding rivet (4) and tie insulating mat (5) to the front

Installation note:

The rear ventilation must not be damaged. (watertightness).

All latch mechanisms must engage audibly.
