11 72 000 Removing and installing or replacing air pump

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove right wheel arch cover

Unlock pressure and suction lines (1) on air pump (2) and disconnect.

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Unscrew nuts.

Remove air pump (2).

Version with secondary air mass sensor Removing secondary air mass sensor:

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Release clamp (2) and detach hose.

Release screw and secondary air mass sensor (3).
