63 21 180 Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear light (in side wall)

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Remove plugs (1) and release the nuts below them on the rear light.

Tightening torque 63 21 2AZ .

Pull out rear light (1) slightly in direction of arrow.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Remove rear light.

Installation note: 

Seals (1) and guide (2) must not be damaged or missing.

Installation note: 

Rear light guide (1) must be correctly engaged in bush (2) when installed.
