63 21 057 Replacing a socket housing for left or right rear light (rear lid)

WARNING: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

Release expanding rivets (1) and fold down tailgate trim panel (2) slightly.

Installation note:

Replace expanding rivets (1).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Feed cable (2) out of rear light (3).

Unlock associated plug connection to LED and disconnect.

Installation note:

Make sure plug connections and cables in rear light (3) are correctly seated.

Turn socket housing (1) in direction of arrow and remove from rear light (3).

Unlock socket housing (2) and remove from rear light (3).

Installation note:

Make sure socket housing (1; 2) is correctly seated in rear light (3).

Turn bulb of reversing light (1) in direction of arrow and remove from socket housing (2).

Replace bulb of rear fog light (1) along with socket housing.

Installation note:

Note BULB TYPE .
