41 12 557 Stripping Operations - Replacing Luggage Compartment Floor, Middle (Tail Panel Removed)

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
The following list basically represents the removal sequence.
  • Remove exhaust system (job number: 18 00 020)
  • Remove heat shields
  • Remove left and right trailing links (job number: 51 71 482)
  • Remove cross reinforcement (job number: 51 71 480)
  • If fitted: Remove active anti-roll bar at rear (job number: 37 12 220)
  • Remove carbon canister (FR number: 12 12 010)

Undo nut (1) and remove negative battery cable.

Tightening torque 61 21 6AZ .

Undo nut (2) and cable channel.

Undo positive battery cables (3) from luggage compartment floor and put to one side with cable channel.

Remove battery crash support (4).
