34 00... General information on breaking in new carbon ceramic brake discs/brake pads

IMPORTANT:
After completing repair work:
- Perform functional check on brake test stand to ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.
- Carry out test braking while driving at low speed; the effectiveness of the brakes may be reduced during the initial braking operations.
- With the carbon ceramic brake, brake pads and brake discs do not have an optimal wear and contact pattern before approx. 1000 km.
Drive cautiously during this break-in period.
- Advise the customer not to perform any wilful drastic braking in the first 200 km after brake replacement.
