66 33 008 Removing and installing/replacing park assist control unit

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT STORAGE COMPARTMENT

NOTE: Only with 24V steering:

Unscrew nuts (1).

Take off holder (2).

Move the auxiliary battery (3) out of the working area.

Release plastic nuts (1).

Remove control unit holder (2) from tail panel trim.

Remove park assist control unit (3) from holder (2).

Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.

Remove the Parking assistant control unit (3).

Replacement:

Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
