32 41 280 Removing and installing/replacing oil reservoir (N63T)

WARNING: DANGER OF POISONING if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
RISK OF INJURY if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!

IMPORTANT: Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Seal off hydraulic lines with seal plugs.

Necessary preliminary work:

Draw off and dispose of hydraulic fluid from oil reservoir
Remove front left SUSPENSION CROSS-BRACE
Remove left intake port. See REMOVE INTAKE PORT (N63O1) .
Remove ENGINE CONTROL UNIT from oil reservoir and place to one side

Release screws (1) on oil reservoir and press oil reservoir (2) forwards until the return and suction line hose clamps can be reached.

Release hose clamps (1) and (3) and detach suction and return lines.

Tightening torque 32 41 3AZ .

Unfasten plug connection (2) from oil level sensor and disconnect.

Release screw (4), remove holder from reservoir and remove reservoir.

Installation note:

Renew hose clamps.

Replacement:

If applicable, transfer OIL LEVEL SENSOR .

After installation:

If necessary, carry out INITIAL DYNAMIC DRIVE OPERATION
Check line connections for leaks
