Service - rear brakes
- Change brake pads . See 34 21 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING BRAKE PADS ON BOTH REAR DISC BRAKES (TRW FLOATING CALIPER) or 34 21 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BRAKE PADS OF BOTH REAR CARBON CERAMIC DISC BRAKES (CSIC) .
  - Replace the brake pad wear sensor
  - Clean brake air ducts
  - Apply a thin coating of grease to wheel centering on light alloy wheels
- Brake discs . See 34 21 320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING BOTH REAR BRAKE DISCS , 34 21 320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING BOTH REAR BRAKE DISCS or 34 21 320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING BOTH REAR CARBON CERAMIC BRAKE DISCS (CSIC) .
  - Check surfaces and thickness.
  - If necessary: Replace
- FUNCTION CHECK OF PARKING BRAKE with roller dynamometer
- Reset CBS DISPLAY according to factory specification

NOTE:

Replace brake discs if they drop below minimum thickness (refer to Technical Data) and in event of scoring, heat cracks or thickness difference. See REAR BRAKE, BMW, F13 or REAR BRAKE, BMW, F13, CARBON CERAMIC BRAKE .
Issue a separate invoice for replacing the brake discs.
