65 13 057 Removing and installing/replacing speaker system (High End sound system, in dashboard trim panel)

Special tools required:

00 9 340

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove COVER ON SPEAKER SYSTEM

NOTE: Picture for example purposes, F12 model shown.

Use special tool 00 9 340 to unclip cover (1) at marked points.

Clamps on cover (1) must not be damaged.

Replace clamps if necessary.

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Remove cover (1).

Release screws (1).

Remove speaker system (2) from dashboard.

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Remove speaker system (2).

Installation note:

Speaker system (1) must be adjusted.

Observe the following notes for this:

Insertion of speaker system (1) in dashboard
Placement of cover (2), this pre-centers of speaker system
Removal of cover (2) and screw connection from the two front screw points
Renewed placement of cover (2) and if necessary subsequent centering of speaker system
Removal of cover (2) and screw connection from the two rear screw points
Renewed placement of cover (2)
If joint speaker system (1) not OK, then manual fine tuning of joint
