51 13 316 Removing and installing or replacing trim strip on roof gutter at left or right

Pull off edge protection (1) in area of trim strip (2).

Slightly pull gasket (1) out of trim strip (2) and release screw (3).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage.
Do not unclip trim strip upwards (1) in area (A).

Pull off trim strip (1) from clamps (2) in direction of arrow starting at the front.

Pull off trim strip (1) from rear trim strip in direction of travel in area (A).

Installation note: 

To avoid leaks and noises, check all clips (2) for visible damage.

If necessary, replace faulty clamps (2).

Firstly slide trim strip (1) in area (A) into rear trim strip.

Trim strip (1) must be free of gaps to rear trim strip in area (A).

Installation note: 

Make sure gasket (1) and welt (2) are correctly seated on trim strip (3).

Gasket (1) and welt (2) must not be damaged.

Replacement: 

If necessary, modify gasket (1 and 2).
