51 43 251 Removing and installing or replacing trim panel for left or right rear roof pillar (C-pillar)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear left/right HEAD RESTRAINTS

Lever out cover (1) and release screw underneath.

Tightening torque 51 43 2AZ .

Release trim panel (2) at clip (3).

Pull rear seat (1) slightly forwards and release screw (2).

Only unclip side trim panel (1) to the rear inwards.

Feed out trim panel (2) from storage shelf (3) and side trim panel.

NOTE: Trim panel (2) is engaged in storage shelf (3) with guide (4).

Guide (1) and clip (2) at trim panel (3) must not be damaged.
