52 14 112 Replacing lumbar support, right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front seat. See 52 14 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) or 52 14 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT PASSENGER SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) .
Partially remove backrest cover from front seat backrest. See 52 14 407 REPLACING BACKREST COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) , 52 14 408 REPLACING BACKREST COVER FOR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRICAL) , 52 16 407 REPLACING BACKREST COVER (SPORT) FOR DRIVER'S SEAT or 52 16 408 REPLACING BACKREST COVER (SPORT) FOR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT .

Unlock quick connectors and detach air hoses (1).

Valve unit for lumbar support:

Hoses (blue/red), lumbar support

Installation note:

Connections are coded against incorrect assembly.

Detach lumbar support (1) upward from spring wire.

Installation note:

Attach lumbar support cushion (1) over first and fifth wires.

Installation note:

Check lumbar support at top (1) and bottom (2) for damage.

Air hoses (3) must be laid without kinks.
