16 12 010 Removing and installing or replacing carbon canister

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Detach rear silencer at rear left (exhaust system remains installed).

Release screws (2) and nuts (1) and remove stoneguard (2).

Installation note:

Check and, if necessary, renew plastic nuts/sheet metal screws.

Detach heat shield (1).

Unlock snap fasteners (1) and (2) and remove tank ventilation lines.

Release screw and nuts (3) and remove carbon canister.

Installation note:

Make sure snap fasteners are correctly engaged.

Tightening torque 16 13 1AZ .
