16 13 521 Removing and installing/replacing pressure switch for Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD)

Necessary preliminary work:

Only for M vehicles
Removing the REAR DIFFUSER .

IMPORTANT: When replacing the pressure switch, the DUST FILTER must also always be replaced.

Release the screws (1) of the bumper panel.

Undo nuts and bolts (1).

Dismantle stoneguard (2).

Installation note:

Check and, if necessary, renew plastic nuts/sheet metal screws.

Release screw (1) and remove holder.

Tightening torque: 16 13 1AZ .

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) on the pressure switch.

Unlock snap fastener and ventilation line (2) of pressure switch.

Release screws (1).

Pull off pressure switch (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Check gaskets and replace if necessary.
