54 34 310 Removing and installing/renewing gasket for rear window

Open soft top compartment until all hydraulic cylinders are extended.

Support soft top compartment lid in SERVICE POSITION .

Gasket on the rear window module:

Release left and right screws (1).

Remove cover (2) on left and right.

Installation note:

Tightening torque 54 34 06AZ .

Release left and right screws (1).

Pull gasket off upwards from rear window module.

Installation note:

Tightening torque 54 34 08AZ .

Installation note:

Gasket (2) must be pressed in line with the rear window (1) in front of the screws.
