54 34 140 Removing and installing or replacing the base plate on left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front roof liner cover. See 51 44 150 REPLACE COVER FOR FRONT ROOF LINING (TOP COWL PANEL) .

Release screws (1).

Remove base plate (2).

Installation note:

Align the base plate over the centering bore and elongated hole with cylindrical pins Ø 6 mm.

Tightening torque 54 34 09AZ .
