64 11 545 Removing and installing fan housing for heater/air conditioner (N52T, N55)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD
Remove RIGHT/REAR SUSPENSION CROSS-BRACE

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 12 90 4AZ .

Remove lid (2) for additional electronics box toward the top.

Unlock and disconnect all plug connections.

Unlatch connector housing (1 and 2) from guide of auxiliary E-box (3).

Unlock plug connection (1) on automatic air recirculation control sensor (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (1) on blower housing cover (2).

Lift out blower housing cover.

Release screws (1) on fan housing (2).

Unlock plug connections (3) and disconnect.

Carefully feed out fan housing (2).
