61 31 339 Replace the handle cover for the gear selector switch (Sport)

Special tools required:

00 9 460

Lever out the display (1) with a suitable tool.

NOTE: Display (1) is glued on.

Installation note:

Remove the protective film from the back of the display before installing.

Make sure display (1) is correctly seated!

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 61 31 5AZ .

NOTE: To tighten screws, use special tool 00 9 460 .

Zinc plated top shell design:

Remove top shell (1).

Ceramic top shell design:

Remove top shell (1).

NOTE: Hold-down device (2) is seated loosely in the top shell (1).

Installation note:

Make sure hold-down device (2) is correctly seated in upper shell (1)!
