61 31 197 Removing and installing/renewing center console operating facility

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove center console cover. See 51 16 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTER CONSOLE COVER .

Release screws (3).

Remove center console operating facility (1) from center console cover (2).

Installation note:

For an uniform join, press center console operating facility (1) sideways up against center console cover (3).

Centering ribs (1) must touch the center console cover (3).
