33 41 151 Replacing left or right wheel bearing on rear axle shaft (640i, 640i xDrive, 650i, 650xi)

IMPORTANT: Do not damage multi-pole impulse ring.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE:
  • Check brake pads and replace if necessary!

Release screws.

Tightening torque 33 41 2AZ .

Remove wheel bearing.

Installation note: 

Replace screws.

Installation note: 

Keep contact surface (1) of wheel bearing and wheel carrier clean and free from oil and grease.
