31 21 090 Replacing left/right swivel bearing (all-wheel drive vehicle)

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove SWIVEL BEARING .
Remove PULSE GENERATOR from swivel bearing

Remove WHEEL BEARING (1).
Check wheel bearing and replace if necessary.
Modify BRAKE GUARD PLATE (2).
Modify line clip (3).

After installation:

Carry out wheel alignment procedure. Carry out wheel alignment procedure. See ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH VEHICLE LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION or ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH RIDE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT (WITHOUT VEHICLE LOAD) .
