Remove flap in luggage compartment trim panel, refer to 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANE .
If necessary, fold sound insulation to one side.
Turn socket housing for rear light to be replaced counterclockwise and remove.
Convert bulb, replace if necessary. Refer to 63 99 315 REPLACING LIGHT BULB(S) FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR LIGHT .
