Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left headlight, refer to 63 12 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT HEADLIGHT (XENON HEADLIGHT) .
- Remove drive unit for adaptive headlight, refer to 63 12 895 REPLACING DRIVE FOR LEFT ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT .
- Remove control unit for left xenon headlight, refer to 63 12 860 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR LEFT XENON HEADLIGHT .
- Remove bulb for left xenon headlight (ignition unit), refer to 63 99 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .
After installation:
- Carry out programming/coding
- Adjust headlights, refer to 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS .
