65 12 051 Removing and installing/renewing central bass speaker - driver's side- (under front seat)

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove front seat . See 52 14 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE or 52 14 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE .
Remove TRIM PANEL FOR DOOR POST .

Release screws (1).

Remove cover (2).

Fold carpet (3) to one side.

Release plastic nuts (1).

Installation note:

Ensure that air duct (2) is correctly seated.

Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1) on electric auxiliary heater (2).

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (3) on temperature sensor.

Completely feed out air duct (4).

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Feed out central bass support (3).
