51 16 041 Removing and installing/replacing cover cap on left or right exterior mirror

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove MIRROR GLASS

Press together latch mechanism (1) and slightly press protective cap (2) to the outside.

Feed out protective cap (2) to the top from retaining ring (3).
