51 13 402 Removing and installing handle strip (on trunk lid)

A - Version Before 09/01

Installation: In version (B), closed expansion nuts and shorter screws (3.5 x 13 mm) must be used.

Release screws (1) and withdraw handle strip (2) somewhat.

Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove handle strip (2).

Installation:

Seal(s) of handle strip (2) must not be damaged.

Tightening torque, refer to 51 13 4AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Perform function check with trunk lid open.
