54 12 497 Removing and installing/replacing wind deflector for glass slide/tilt sunroof

Open the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover.

Lever out spring. (1) on left and right.

Pull the wind deflector (2) towards the rear and out of its support (3).

Installation:

Perform function check.

Installation:

Insert the retaining pins (1) for the wind deflector (2) into the holders (4).

The pins (3) must snap in correctly.

Place the wind deflector (1) in a vertical position and pull it upwards out of the supports (3) together with the levers (2) on the left and right.

Installation:

Turn the lever (1) until the retainer (3) is in line with the opening (2) and remove the lever (1) from the wind deflector (4).
