54 12 270 Removing and installing/replacing actuator for glass slide/tilt sunroof lid on left/right

Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof lid.

Close the glass slide/tilt sunroof (zero setting).

Disengage the lever (2) from the actuator (1).

Installation: 

Locking catches (1) of lever. (2) must not be damaged.

Installation: 

When the glass slide/tilt sunroof is in the zero setting, the marking (1) on the actuator must be above the marking (2) on the slide.

If necessary, move the actuator or the slide.

Move the glass slide/tilt sunroof into "raise position".

Pull the actuator. (3) and the carriage. (1) together towards rear until the actuator. (3) can be disengaged from the slide. (2).

Grip the slide. (2) firmly in the process.

Turn the actuator. (1) upwards.

Disengage the actuator (1) from the carriage (2).
