54 12 015 Replacing the left and right gaiters for the glass slide/tilt sunroof

Move glass slide/tilt sunroof panel into "raise position".

Slowly slide headlining (floating headlining) towards rear until noticeable stop is reached.

E65, E66: A = approx. 60 mm

E60, E61: A = 0 mm

Starting from the back, pull gaiter (1) out of the glass slide/tilt sunroof panel (2).

Remove gaiter (1) as follows:

Unclamp at front
Slide-forwards and remove

Installation note:

clamp. (4) and guide pin. (2) must not be damaged.

Slide guide pin. (2) into holder. (1). clamp. (4) must engage in holder. (3).
