37 14 610 Removing and installing/replacing lateral acceleration sensor

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

IMPORTANT: Do not kink floor trim panel under any circumstances!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove RIGHT FRONT SEAT
Lift carpet and fold back to one side
Remove floor inlay

Release nuts (1), disconnect plug connection (2) and remove lateral acceleration sensor (3).

Installation:

Replace self-locking nuts.

Tightening torque 37 14 7AZ .

After installation:

If necessary, carry out initial DYNAMIC DRIVE OPERATION
