51 16 405 Removing and installing/replacing roller sun blind on side window of left or right rear door

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

Release 4 bolts (1).

E71, E72:

(1): only 3 screws present.

Release catches (1 and 2) and pull off roller sun blind (3) towards bottom.

E71, E72:

only 6 catches present.
only 5 catches present.

Installation:

Catches (1 and 2) must not be damaged.

Fold up handle (1) and feed out with roller sun blind (2) through frame (3).
