51 71 099 Removing and installing/replacing radiator air guide

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove CARRIER FOR BUMPER TRIM AT FRONT

Release expanding rivets (1).

Release catch (2) and remove intake duct (3) towards top.

Disconnect plug connections (1, 2).

Unclip hose (3) and feed out air duct towards top.

Replacement:

Modify all rubber seals (1) and sheet nuts (2) on air duct, replace if necessary.

Modify outside temperature sensor (3).

Optional extra:

Modify AIR FLAP CONTROL .
