51 47 065 Removing and installing/replacing cover at front left or right entrance

The NOTES on component bonding with double-sided adhesive tape serve as the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

Cover can not be reused.

Sever the double-sided adhesive tape of cover (1) with CUTTING CORD (2) and pulling handles (3).

Detach cover (1) and dispose of it.

Clean bonding surface.

Bond on new cover (1) in accordance with dimension (x and y).

x = 4 to 4.5 mm parallel to entrance edge
y = 30 mm protrusion to joint of cover (2)

NOTE: If the cover (1) is only replaced on one side, the dimensions (x and y) from the other side must be used.
