51 31 023 Removing and installing or replacing left or right gutter strip along windscreen

Special tools required:
IMPORTANT:
The gutter strip has an indentation in the middle and has a tendency to kink in this area during dismantling.
All gutter strip clamps must be released singly (starting at the bottom).
All gutter strip clamps must be released singly (starting at the bottom).
Pull off gutter strip (1) at bottom approx. 5 mm from clamp (2).
Raise sealing lip of gutter strip (1) with special tool 00 9 340 and carefully press tabs (3) of clamps (4) in direction of arrow with screwdriver.
Pull gutter strip (1) a little upwards until it feed out from clamp (4).
IMPORTANT:
Replace clamps (4) after each dismantling.
Pay attention to installation location in event of different-colored clamps (4).
Locks of clamps (4) must not be damaged.
