51 47 030 Removing and installing/replacing rear (inside) left or right entrance cover strip

Special tools required:

00 9 317

Detach edge protection (1) in area of entrance cover strip (2).

Using special tool 00 9 317 , detach door sill cover strip (2) from clamp (3) and clamps (4) in upward direction.

Installation note:

If necessary, replace faulty clamps (3).

If necessary, release clamps (4) from vehicle.

Installation note:

tabs (1) must not be damaged or missing.

If necessary, fit missing or faulty clamps (2) on entrance cover strip (3).

Fit door sill cover strip (3) with preinstalled clips (2).
