11 65 185 Removing and installing/renewing heat shield at bottom (N63 hybrid)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Clamp off BATTERY LEAD FROM NEGATIVE TERMINAL
Remove FAN COWL with electric fan
Remove both EXHAUST MANIFOLDS

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

Remove heat shield (2) towards top.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

IMPORTANT: Risk of interchange on replacement of the heat shield.
Other shields are installed in the N63 and S63 engines.

Release front screws on heat shield (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

Remove heat shield (1) towards top.

IMPORTANT: Risk of interchange on replacement of the heat shield.
Other shields are installed in the N63 and S63 engines.

Assemble engine.
