52 14 018 Removing and installing/replacing seat frame for front passenger seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT PASSENGER SEAT
Remove seat cover for front passenger seat. See SEAT COVER (NORMAL/ELECTRICAL, UP TO 09/09) , SEAT COVER (SPORTS, 09/09 ON) , or SEAT COVER (COMFORT, FROM 09/09) .
Remove backrest frame See 52 17 032 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BACKREST FRAME FOR DRIVER'S SEAT or REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BACKREST FRAME FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DRIVER'S SEAT on front seat

Release all clips.

Installation note:

If necessary, replace faulty clips.

Feed wiring harness (1) out of seat frame.

Open rivets (1) on left and right.

Remove securing strips (2) on left and right.

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque: see 6AZ in 52 10 FRONT SEATS

Remove seat frame from seat rail.

NOTE: The new seat frame part contains all the drives.
