51 16 282 Removing and installing/replacing left or right lower housing section (from 07/12)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove RETAINING RING

Release screws (1).

Pull side repeater (2) a little towards the rear and feed out.

Feed out tab (3).

If necessary, unlock plug connection for camera and disconnect.

Fold in exterior mirror (1).

Feed lower housing section (2) out of guides (3) and remove.

For replacement with Top View camera version:

Modify CAMERA .
