34 41 135 Replacing both Bowden cables for parking brake: Installation

Tightening torque: see 5AZ in 34 41 PARKING BRAKE .

Pull Bowden cable (1) out of actuator unit (2).

IMPORTANT: Make sure all parts are absolutely clean.

Turn spindle (1) out of actuator unit (2) and remove Bowden cable.

Installation:

Lubricate new spindle with grease provided.

Insert spindle (1) 3 turns into inner spline shaft of actuator unit (2).
