51 16 163 Removing and installing/replacing rear center console cover

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Move front seats forwards
Remove SIDE TRIM PANELS ON CENTRE CONSOLE

Release screws (1) on left and right sides.

Detach rear center console cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug connections behind and disconnect.

Replacement:

Remove fresh air grille in rear passenger compartment. See FRESH-AIR GRILLE (BASIC A/C SYSTEM) or FRESH-AIR GRILLE (HIGH A/C SYSTEM) .

Remove REAR A/C SYSTEM CONTROL PANEL

Remove LOWER REAR CENTRE CONSOLE COVER
