67 66 012 Removing and installing/replacing drive unit for lumbar support on left or right front seat (comfort seat)

Remove both rear panels on front seat . See 52 17 202 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LOWER REAR PANEL ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST or 52 17 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING UPPER REAR PANEL ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST .

Unhook backrest cover (1) from backrest.

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Release cable tie (3).

Installation:

Replace cable ties (3).

Make sure cable ties (3) are correctly seated

Disconnect quick-connect couplings (1 and 2).

Installation:

Seals in quick-connect couplings (1 and 2) must not be damaged.

Make sure quick-connect couplings (1 and 2) are correctly seated

NOTE: Drive unit for lumbar support (1) is shown in semi-removed state.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Lines on drive unit for lumbar support (1) must not be kinked.

If necessary, press backrest (3) inwards and feed drive mechanism for lumbar support (1) upwards out of backrest frame (2).
