18 32 605 Removing and installing/replacing both connecting pipes on catalytic converter (N63, S63)

WARNING: Scalding hazard!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove EXHAUST SYSTEM .

NOTE: Texts refer to and illustrations show the left side. The procedure is identical for the right side.

Release nuts (1).

Tightening torque 18 31 2AZ .

Installation:

Remove seal.

Clean sealing faces.

Replace seal.

Reassemble the vehicle.

Check exhaust system for leaks.
