51 71 041 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right wheel arch cover

Necessary preliminary tasks
- Remove REAR WHEEL
- Remove TRIM ON REAR WHEEL ARCH
NOTE:
Work shown on X5 3.0i by way of example, deviations in detail are possible in other models.
Release fastening elements (1 to 3).
Feed out wheel arch cover (4) towards bottom.
Installation:
If necessary, replace defective retaining elements.
Ensure wheel arch cover (4) is correctly seated.
